Kidsgrove Scouts achieve DCUK record

On the DCUK Championships weekend (21st September) very few people would have realised that a significant milestone was reached by the Kidsgrove Scouts.
Kidsgrove Scouts became the first Open class Corps to achieve 10 consecutive medals positions in DCUK Open Class Finals Competition.
2004 � 3rd
2005 � 2nd
2006 - 2nd
2007 � 1st
2008 � 2nd
2009 � 1st
2010 � 1st
2011 � 1st
2012 � 1st
2013 � 2nd
The previous record was jointly held by three huge iconic DCUK corps from the past
Dagenham Crusaders � 9 Consecutive Medal positions 1980 � 1988
Blue Eagles � 9 Consecutive Medal positions 1988 � 1996
Senators � 9 Consecutive Medal positions � 1997 � 2005.
The Senators still hold the record for overall Medal placing�s with 16, a fantastic achievement in itself.
